Happy New Year!

The past few days I have been contemplating writing a post reflecting on the past year and adding pictures to tell the story.  In attempting to get my events in order and while perusing through my picture, I realized that it was a massive task. So I gave up.

The next thought that came to me was to do nothing. That plan was going pretty well until today. Spending my last day in Maine before heading back to Colorado, my family decided to go to Reid State Park and then to Wiscasset to eat. Low and behold I found a few things to take pictures of. So instead of a year recap I'm going the simple route.  Below are my last pictures ever to be taken in the year of 2012. Enjoy! Oh and Happy New Year!

Christmas Present

In my last post I forgot to throw in a picture of the Moon and Jupiter. On Christmas day the Moon and Jupiter converged for a good show. If only I had a better zoom lens...

Merry Christmas!

Waking up on Christmas morning I was happy to see it snowing outside. While relaxing I noticed a flock of Blue Jays out on the bird feeder. I quickly hooked up the zoom lens and attempted to capture the moment. Unfortunately I didn't get to get a picture of the 6 or 7 Blue Jays, but I did get a variety of birds. It was a good way to start the Christmas day.

It's Been a While

Realizing that it has been a while since I have posted any pictures I decided to take my camera with me as I went walking. Nothing super spectacular but still got a few decent shots. The first two pictures are from today. The last two are from several weeks ago when Lo-Ammi came out to visit.
