It has been a long time since I have posted anything. I have been so busy with work that I have not had much of a chance to get outside and take pictures. Last Saturday, we headed up to go hike at Brainard Lake (see the post with the moose pictures). When we pulled in to the parking not only was there a ton of cars but the wind was blowing so hard I didn't even want to get out.
We decided that we would just take a ride through the mountains in the safety of the car and enjoy the scenery from the road. Heading towards Rocky Mountain National Park on Peak to Peak highway this (the picture below) is what one will see as they get to the top of a hill.
Finally, we made it to the park and still the wind was howling. Below is a picture of the snow blowing off the top of a mountain. Glad I wasn't at the top of that peak.
Continuing our drive I looked down into a valley to see a herd of Elk.
You have now reach the end of the story of the scenic drive. Hope you enjoyed.
